Al Futtaim now offering TRD kits for Toyotas in the UAE – here are the specs and prices

You can now buy official TRD (Toyota Racing Development) kits for Toyotas directly from the dealer in the UAE for the first time in the region.

Performance parts are no currently available. What you do get is bits to enhance looks, handling and aerodynamics. In fact they come in two options – the Aerodynamic Pack and the Sports Pack (which actually includes both).

You can currently get them for the Yaris hatchback, Yaris saloon, Corolla, Aurion and of course the 86, although further kits will become available based on demand, and you could even order parts to retro-fit older Toyotas if you ask nicely enough.

As you’d imagine, the Aero pack consists of spoilers and side skirts, whilst the Sport pack adds performance wheels with low-profile tyres and lowered suspension.

What is TRD?

TRD was formed as an aftermarket parts distributor in 1976, but was established as Toyopet Seibi Co Ltd in 1954, and has been involved in motorsports since 1957.
