Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario
Limited edition special celebrating 50 years of the Raging Bull

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario has been unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show to mark the 50th birthday of the marque. Only 100 will be produced.
Power goes up from 700PS for the regular LP 700-4 (690bhp) to 720PS (710bhp) giving it a 0-100kph time of an extraordinary 2.9 seconds and a top speed fo 350kph.
There’s a few styling tweaks on the front and rear with larger front air intakes and a bigger diffuser at the back and improved engine ventilation – it’s claimed this car is 50% more aerodynamic than the regular Aventador.
It also gets new yellow paint (Giallo Maggio – or May Yellow) paying tribute to the most popular Lamborghini colour, a trend started by the Miura. Splashes of this make it into the interior and outside it’s offset by matte black. Although you can order it in other colours.
The special Aventador is also accompanied by a Gallardo LP 560-2 50° Anniversario which is presented in Bianco Opalis (Shimmering White) plus a carbon-fibre rear wing.
All Lambos made in 2013 feature a 50th anniversary emblem in the cabin.
