GMC Mini-series to mark 44th UAE National Day
8-part mini-series sees a retracing of traditional routes across the UAE
Fourty-four days before the UAE National Day on 2 December 2015, GM Middle East is launching a GMC Mini-series to mark 44th UAE National Day.
Dubbed #OURUAE an eight-part mini-series features two young Emiratis, Mayed Khaled Aljassim and Mohamed Badir Jany, driving across all seven emirates in a Heavy Duty GMC Sierra Pickup. The series will see them retrace symbolic routes taken by the UAE’s founding fathers over 44 years ago to unite the 7 Emirates.
To celebrate the UAE’s anniversary milestone, Mayed and Mohamed, whose friendship blossomed over the course of the filming embarked on a unique, adrenaline-fueled adventure and visited key landmarks steeped in Emirati culture.
And you’ll get to experience their journey yourself!
At the Dubai International Motor Show 10-14 November (click here for show details), on the GMC stand, visitors will get a chance to ride along with Mayed and Mohamed thanks to the immersive technology of Oculus Rift.
