Dubai car show in financial city
McLaren 650S, Ferrari Speciale, SRT Viper & Porsche Macan at Dubai Financial City car show

A unique new mini motor show, dubbed ‘MotorVillage’ kicked off yesterday at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and is set to run until this Thursday, 3rd April.
Similar in concept to the Motorexpo that takes place in London’s Canary Wharf area in June, the idea is quite a logical one. Bring the car show to the elite that dabble in the big money – showcase the cars to the financial hub and to those that can buy them!
Unsurprisingly then, you’ll not find the new Toyota Corolla or the Kia Soul on show here at the Dubai car show. The cars are predominantly from the high end premier league category.
Scattered across the beautifully presented terraces and walkways of DIFC, amongst the art galleries and classy eateries, the cars on show include offerings from Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Ferrari, Lotus, Maserati, McLaren, Porsche and SRT.
And there’s even a first – the official debut of the McLaren 650S which vies for star of the show status with the Ferrari Speciale and the SRT Viper. You can also get close to the all-new Porsche Macan, another first showing.
If you work in the area, it’s well worth a saunter around the Dubai car show during a lunch break, especially if you’re in the buying mood as some of the exhibitors have test drive cars on site and seem ready to do you a deal.
