18 JUNE UPDATE – REPORT FROM MEET 11 CLICK HERE NOW

We’re less than two days away from our next Meet, which takes place this weekend on Friday 15th June, at The Pavilion, Downtown Dubai opposite the Burj Khalifa from 5-8pm. We’re expecting nearly 100 cars and 200 people to turn up, despite the heat and humidity.

Fortunately The Pavilion does some great food and beverage, so we suggest you spend some quality time inside with our very special guests, who will be taking part in our first ever ‘chat show’ which will be held in the cinema room of The Pavilion 6-7pm. And this time YOU’LL get a chance to ask the questions.

Al Futtaim Toyota is bringing the very same Arctic Trucks Hilux used by Jeremy Clarkson and James May to be the first people to drive to the North Pole in Top Gear – complete with the rear toilet seat Clarkson installed!

And Chrysler Middle East will be bringing the entire SRT lineup!

The entire current SRT lineup

UAE Drift Superstar, Ahmed Alamri is the current drift king of the Drift UAE challenge. He is also the two time UAE qualifier in the RedBull Car park drift challenge, and will be competing for the finals in Lebanon this September.

And he’ll be joined by Mohammad Alfalasi, organiser of Drift UAE, The Dubai Chase and Barrel Sprint. They’ll be talking about how to get into entry-level and affordable motor sports with your own car, including Autocrossing, Barrelsprint and of course Drifting.

Jack Rodencal is the extremely enthusiastic and approachable boss of Chrysler Middle East and he’ll be at the Meet on Friday, talking about the awesome SRT range. You’ll be able to ask him questions about these and the car industry in general.

He certainly was born to the world of cars as both his father and grandfather were owners of the Dodge dealership in Wisconsin Rapids, USA and first joined Chrysler himself in 1985.

We also have Rob Bryan from the Automobile & Touring Club UAE who will be talking about the new registration process for classic cars in Dubai and also about future plans for registering resto-mods and modified cars.

We want to thank Chrysler Middle East, Al Futtaim Toyota, and The Rolling Art Emporium for sponsoring this event, and especially The Pavilion for hosting us. Thanks also to the EMSF for their continued support!

You can check out just some of the cars confirmed for the Meet below – but the full album can be found here.

If you’re bringing a cool car or bike send a picture to MME@MotoringME.com and we’ll add it to this album.

Confirm your attendance on our Facebook page here, and stay tuned for all the updates and information regarding the meet.

See you there!
