Audi RS Q3 Concept for China

Hot version of the compact SUV

Audi has released details of an RS concept version of the compact Q3 crossover, that is set to debut at Auto China 2012 in Beijing.

It’s churning out 360bhp from its 2.5-litre TFSI five-cylinder unit, giving it a 0-100kph time of 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 265kph. It powers the quattro all-wheel drive system through a seven-speed S tronic.

It’s also lowered by about 25mm, and widened. There’s styling tweaks up front to give it more aggression with changes to the grille and bumper as well as tinted headlights.

At the rear the bumpers been reworked and a diffuser houses the two large elliptical tailpipes. The body colour is said to be Ordos Blue – a matt blue with a slight yellow tint.

There’s a black and blue-themed interior and even the engine compartment gets a style makeover, and let’s not forget the 20-inch alloy wheels.
