2016 Lexus RX
All-new version of the luxury family favourite from Lexus

Another good looking and distinctive new car from the luxury Japanese marque – the all new 2016 Lexus RX has surprised everyone at the New York motor show, with its striking new looks clearly inspired by the new Lexus NX.
Only thing is, the RX has a loyal and avid following amongst buyers – in fact it’s the company’s best-selling model with 2.1 million having been sold. So will this very different design direction put them off?
Well hopefully not, because it’s bigger, with more interior space and the comfort and luxury has been ramped up. There’s a head-up display, 12.3-inch monitor, a panoramic sunroof, more leg- and knee-room for the rear.
It gets a 3.5-litre V6 with 300bhp mated to an eight-speed transmission driving all four wheels. It’s been stiffened and gets 20-inch alloys now and has adaptive suspension plus a host of new safety features.
There will of course be an RX F Sport with the F style grille, different wheels, sportier instrument panel, sports suspension, paddle shifts and sports mode. Expect it to arrive in late 2015.
