2015 Kuwait Concours D’Elegance starts today
Fourth classic car extravaganza begins at Marina Crescent in Kuwait City

Kuwait’s Historical, Vintage and Classic Car Museum (read about that here) is hosting the country’s fourth classic car event, which will feature the crème de la crème of the vintage car scene with some superb and original vintage cars on display.

Taking place from 11-18 February, the 2015 Kuwait Concours D’Elegance will be held at Marina Crescent and will feature over 100 historic and classic cars built from pre-1900 to 1975 spread over four classes, including separate judging sections for the likes of Hollywood movie cars, American sports and muscle cars and Gas Money Garage cars.
Class A featuring cars up to 1930 include gems such as the 1924 Bamford & Martin Side-Valve team car and a 1930 Plymouth.
In Class B (1930-1945) there are entries such as the 1933 Invicta S-Type 4.5 and a 1935 Bugatti Type 57 Aerolithe Electron.
Class C is for cars from 1946-1960 such as a 1958 Austin Healey 100-Six and a 1953 Bentley R-Type saloon.
Class D will feature more modern classics including a 1971 Lamborghini Miura P4000S and a Bizzarrini Spyder Targa.
A prestigious panel of judges will be led by Leonardo Fioravanti and will include Chris Bangle, Dr Andrea Zagato, Stephan Winkelmann, Alfieri Maserati and Marella Rivolta-Zagato.
