Trust me on this – the new ‘Vette is pure, unadulterated sugar-high ecstasy. And how do you make that ecstasy high last even longer? You make it faster.
Yeah, you all knew it was coming. This is the first teaser image of the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06, now in C7 form. Contrary to early reports the designation has not been bumped to Z07; the company claims it “…will be the most track-capable Corvette ever, designed to deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features.”
Read that to mean, it’ll have the brutal 7.0-litre LS7 motor capable of outputs well in excess of 505bhp and 470lb ft, though no doubt they’ll be tweaked higher for this new car. You can also expect harder track-focused suspension, bigger brakes and tires so sticky Spider Man would be envious.
