2015 Jaguar XF
All-new replacement for the, now, mid-level Jaguar saloon
By Shahzad Sheikh
All new 2015 Jaguar XF finally gets the all-aluminium construction shared by its bigger brother XJ and forthcoming little brother XE, and hence loses weight – upto 190kg in fact! A longer wheelbase also gives it more leg, knee and headroom in the back – although it’s actually fractionally shorter and lower than the previous XF.
It’s sleeker with an aero drag CD of 0.26 down from 0.29, adopts electric steering and adaptive suspension
It’ll be well equipped with a 10.2-inch touchscreen with dual-view tech, build in Apps and even a Wi-Fi hotspot plus 10GB storage for entertainment and a 17-speaker 825W Meridian sound system.
We’re likely to get it with a 3.0-litre V6 producing 380bhp with an 8-speed auto, or a six-speed manual – though we’re not likely to get that here.
The problem for me is that it’s pretty hard to tell the difference between this and the XE, and not as striking and smooth as an XF.

you mean not smooth as XJ , right?
Previous XF I should have said.
