Pininfarina Rolls Royce Hyperion at the Dubai Show

Coachbuilt luxury convertible

Pininfarina has brought along its coachbuilt version of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead coupe to the show. The Hyperion, as it’s been dubbed, is from a couple of years ago and was commissioned by a car collector and Rolls-Royce fan.

The design was inspired by the opulent cars of the 1930s and the rear seats have been taken out and the body is now in carbon fibre (rather than the Phantom’s aluminium). It retains the regular drivetrain of the Rolls but features unique touches inside like the centre console watch that the owner can pop out and attach instantly to a wrist strap.
