First Transformers: Age Of Extinction Trailer: Guns, Girls And T-Rexes
Don’t try to pretend you’re not going to see this one

After approximately a century of teasing, the new trailer for Transformers: Age Of Extinction has finally arrived. Promising a back-to-basics approach eschewing the bloated blockbuster appeal of its predecessors, this one definitely nails that hopeful, downtrodden appeal of the very first tone. Kicking off with a terminally-wrecked Optimus Prime being rescued from the scrap heap, new (broke) owner Mark Walhberg gradually discovers something’s not quite right with this Peterbilt. Incidentally, how awesome is it that Bay has returned Prime to his original cartoon flat-nose Peterbilt form?
From there, the trailer devolves into the usual Transformers sturm and drang, Inception Horns, and erm…a giant robot T-Rex. Which we all know is going to be Grimlock. And admittedly, awesome. Who cares? We’re all going to be there on opening day anyway.
