1. Dodge Ram: Highway to Hell
Okay, so this wasn’t meant to be our Stephen King moment. It started off as a gentle drive up to Wadi Wurayyah to do a guide on a weekend drive into the mountains and get some nice shots of our favourite Truck. On the return trip though, things went slightly wrong, and we ended up in a twilight zone world of creepy old ladies, invisible gate keepers, vanishing headlights and tunnels that don’t exist.
2. We go dune-bashing in a Volkswagen sports saloon
I’ve been wanting to do this for ages, but it took a while to find a manufacturer brave enough to let us take their brand new road-going sports saloon into the desert to see how it would cope on the sane. So what do you want first? The good news or the bad news?
3. Cruze down memory lane
Two identical Chevrolet Cruzes cruising in two very different directions. Could we drive around Dubai reminiscing? Apparently we could. And you all came along for the ride!
4. We race each other in Corvette race sims
We’re often asked who is the better drive between me and Imthishan. So we decided to find out, in the virtual world. I would have thought the answer was obvious really.
5. Who stole our Dodge Dart?
We sweet-talked an engineer into letting us have the keys to a development car in the region for testing – and promptly made off with it! We got as far as Fujairah…
