Renault’s all-new Duster to go on sale next year
Plus the Koleos gets a makeover

No less than current Formula One star, Mark Webber (his Red Bull Infiniti F1 car is actually powered by a Renault engine) was on hand on the Renault stand to present the latest line-up of cars including the all-new Duster SUV.
Going on sale in 2012 is described as a ‘shockingly affordable new SUV’ and will be available with a 135bhp 2.0-litre engine in two- or four-wheel drive. It’s said to have been rigorously tested in the GCC. Sadly it doesn’t appear to have been rigorously styled – it really is a purely anonymous design.
Also on the stand is the new Koleos – now available in ‘Cayenne Orange’, also comes in two- or four-wheel drive with a 170bhp engine. Also new is the Fluence ZE.
Meanwhile Renault claims the mantle of ‘fastest growing car brand in the GCC’ with 160% growth and is also the number one brand European brand in Saudi Arabia and Oman claims the company.
