GMC makes a Raptor-killer, but it’s only a concept

Feeling inadequate? Girls not answering your phone calls? Men not answering your phone calls? Desperate to see the Fall Guy come back on the TV? All those hopes and more could be answered.
This is as big as trucks get, and a clear responses to Ford’s hoon-tastic Raptor offroad monster. The All Terrain HD Concept is just that – a concept – for now, but clearly it’s been built with an eye on future production possibilities. Under the hood, there’s a 6.6-litre diesel V8 engine with nearly 400bhp on tap; which considering the Raptor’s 400+ bhp output is surely no coincidence.
Oh look, another coincidence. Fox shocks – just like on the Raptor. If anybody has really benefitted from this offroad pissing match of the last few years, it’s the Fox people, whose shock technology has risen to the top of the pile – in terms of visibility, at least.
On a personal note, I have to say that I’m getting a bit tired of these things. How many people actually buy these Tonka Toys and then take them offroad in the desert, getting them properly dirty and beat up? Not many, I’ll wager.
