Outdoor action announced for regional show

The Volkswagen Group… sorry, I meant Qatar Motor Show will be back in 2012 and the dates have just been announced. Press and VIP days are 23 and 24 January, with the show opening to the public on the 25th and running through to 28th January.
The organisers have confirmed that the ourdoor action show, in association with Red Bull, will be back and will feature drifting demonstrations, FMX, trial bike and stunt bike show and features Middle East Hill Climb Champion, Abdo Feghali – as you can see from the really bad picture they’ve sent out. And Christian Pfeiffer one of the world’s best Streetbike Freestylers.
There will also be two test drive areas including an off-road track for people to try some of the Volkswagens… sorry cars displayed at the show.

So why the VW mentions? The Emirate of Qatar has a major shareholding in the group, and last time out all the group brands: VW, Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini and of course Porsche were there in force. Frankly speaking through, chuck in SEAT and Skoda and that’s enough cars to have pretty good motor show anyway!
