UAE Land Rover Meet on 20th January 2012
1st UAE Land Rover Gathering to pay tribute to the presence of Land Rovers in the UAE since 1950 Land Rovers owners invited to join this inaugural tour and show featuring a spectacular line up of Land Rovers from the early 1948 Series 1 to the latest 2012 Evoque.
The 1st UAE Land Rover Gathering will take place on Friday 20 January 2012, from 3pm to 8pm, as a tribute to the presence of Land Rovers in the UAE since 1950 and inviting all Land Rover models, from the early 1948 Series 1 to the latest 2012 Evoque, including the iconic Defender, the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models plus Discovery / LR3 / LR4) and the Freelander / LR2 and anything wearing a Land Rover badge.
The event, open to both classic and modern Land Rovers, will also feature special military Land Rovers and the rare and unique modified Land Rovers ordered by Royalty and UAE National families, showcasing some of the most amazing modified Land Rovers. Free and open to the public, the event will begin with a short Tour through Dubai, starting opposite from the Dubai World Trade Center, heading to Al Dhiyafa Road, the Union flag for a group shot.
It will continue down Jumeirah Beach Road, to Mercato, and back to Downtown Dubai to finish at The Pavilion Downtown on Emaar Boulevard, where the cars will be displayed for the rest of the afternoon, giving the public an opportunity to get up close and familiar with the vehicles and their enthusiastic owners. Calling all Land Rover owners to register and join for this inaugural tribute organized jointly by Arif Al Yedaiwi, Mathias Doutreleau and the Land Rover Owner’s Club UAE.
