2012 Toyota Aurion launched
Revisions and improved economy for ‘V6 Camry’

The new 2012 Toyota Aurion – otherwise referred by most as the ‘V6 Camry’ is on sale now and we’ve got the prices and details.
Toyota is promising a quieter ride, bigger interior, better fuel economy and of course it gets new looks in keeping with the latest edition of the Camry on which it is based.
It’s powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine putting out 268bhp through a six-speed auto with sequential shift. There’s electric power steering and the front-wheel drive up-spec Toyota gets all the usual traction and stability systems as well as a Parking Assist feature, new in-car entertainment, USB/AUX capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless entry, dual-zone air-con and rear window power sunshade.
The Aurion comes in two specs: Sports and Grade. For Sports you get sport-tuned suspension, sport seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, paddleshifts, exterior spoilers and a different front grille.
The more luxury-orientated Grande gets full leather upholstery, a 7-inch dash touch-screen (as opposed to 6.1 for the Sport) featuring sat nav, active headlights, headlight wash and 8-way memory seat for the driver.
You get a choice of two interior colours (Ivory and Gray) and nine exterior colors, five of which are new: Attitude Black, Gray, Red, Bronze and Blue. Prices are AED115,000 ($31,250) for the Sports model and AED125,000 ($34k) for the Grande.
