Dubai Drive for Peace
Awesome convoy of hundreds of bikes and cars

Yesterday I joined the flagging off of an amazing Peace parade that involved hundreds of cars and bikes. Check out our amazing gallery of images!
Three o’clock near the Dubai Exhibition centre yesterday, saw an amazing gathering of classic, modified, performance and luxury cars, along with a massive turnout of an incredible bikes.
When the parade began at 4pm, the sights and sounds of all the mechanical thunder roaring off lasted over a quarter of an hour – as one spectator said ’16 minutes of awesomeness!’
Civil defence units from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah escorted the parade, including a fire and rescue Corvette and the Abu Dhabi police GTR and Camaro.
It was all part of the first ever Peace March held in Dubai and led by Shaikh Mansour Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai – as a prelude of the second Dubai International Peace Convention (DIPC) starting on Thursday.
The parade drove to the Mall of the Emirates and returned to Road 312 to be greeted by police officers with yellow roses.
