Bikes and cars unite to celebrate the 40th UAE National day

Power, style, burning rubber, some wonderful metal with an excellent dose of national day spirit brought over 40 Mercedes AMG and 40 Ducati owners together for a celebration in advance of National day yesterday at Dubai Festival City. After a previous collaboration between AMG and Ducati with an AMG designed Ducati Diavel, 4 wheels and 2 took to the streets with a police escorted parade starting from the Flag pole in Jumeriah down to the waterfront at Dubai Festival City.

A whole range of hot metal turned up from G-Wagons, the fantastic SLS roadster to the CLS63 and on the 2 wheeled front, a plethora of Ducati Monster’s, Multistrada’s and the 1198 superbike. With all the excitement and good natured chivalry between the owners, the event was a good chance for owners and spectators to meet and admire while being serenaded by a traditional Emirati singing group.
