2012 Centennial Edition Corvette
Celebratory edition ‘Vette trim on all Corvettes
By Shahzad Sheikh
Celebrating 100 years of Chevrolet at the Dubai Motor Show, GM will be showcasing the Chevrolet Centennial Edition Corvette featuring Carbon Flash Metallic paintwork with satin black graphics and Centennial Satin Black wheels with red brake callipers.
It comes with magneride suspension and bespoke badges commemorating Chevrolet’s racing history, including an iconic image of founder Louis Chevrolet on the B-pillars, centre caps of the wheels and the centre of the steering wheels. The traditional crossed flags badge contains a ‘100’ in place of the usual fleur-de-lis symbol.
This package is available on all Corvette models and trim levels including the Grand Sport, Z06 and ZR1.
Also on the stand will be a 45th anniversary special edition 2012 Camaro. The range gets an improved version of the V6, performance suspension for the SS, revised instrument panel, new steering wheel and a new rear camera system.
For the Anniversary Edition there’s a red and silver stripe contrasting with the Carbon Flash Metallic paint, along with hood and deck stripes, badges under the front fender emblems and a Jet Black interior. This package will be offered on the top two Camaro trims for both coupe and convertible versions.
Both cars can now be ordered at showrooms in the Middle East.
